A very popular hijab style in Jordan looks as such:
Stephanie and I think it's very pretty, but we couldn't figure out what it is that makes it so large! Your hair would have to be at least 10 feet long for your bun to be that big. I thought maybe they made a bun from another scarf and then put the hijab scarf on top of it. We still weren't sure.
We consulted with our new friend, Saria, from Denmark. She wasn't sure, either. It wasn't until we went to the market that Saria solved the mystery:

The poofy things that look like flowers are clips. You just put one (or 5, maybe) under your hijab, and voila! It's massive! Thanks, Saria, for solving the mystery!
